Initial Psychiatric Evaluation

This is the first meeting you will have with the provider. They will obtain a detailed history and get to know you to establish a therapeutic rapport. This session is usually 45-60 minutes in length. This allows for the creation of an appropriate and efficient treatment plan.

Psychiatric Follow up

This is a shorter session and is used to assess the effectiveness of treatment and if any changes need to be discussed. Medication refills are also handled. This visit is 20-30 minutes long.

Therapy

A therapy session includes the use of different mental, emotional and physical tools to evaluate, change and resolve thought processes. By using techniques of CBT therapy, ERP therapy, talk therapy and Motivational Interviewing, patients will be armed with the ability to alter their thought patterns and ultimately hit goals they are striving to achieve. These sessions are held over 20-30 minutes.
